Frisbie Group Honored with 13th Annual Addison Mizner Patronage Award.

Palm Beach, FL – April 26, 2025 – Frisbie Group, a distinguished real estate investment firm renowned for its commitment to architectural excellence and community renaissance revitalization, is honored to be the recipient of the 13th Annual Addison Mizner Patronage Award from the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA), Florida Chapter.

The Addison Mizner Patronage Award recognizes individuals and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional dedication to the preservation and advancement of classical architecture and urbanism. Named after Addison Mizner, the celebrated architect whose designs have profoundly influenced Florida's architectural landscape, the award honors those who uphold and promote the principles of classical design in contemporary contexts.

ICAA President Kristin Kellogg introduced Frisbie Group at the event: “The Institute[…] is proud to recognize Frisbie Group for its enduring commitment to elevating the architectural and cultural fabric of Palm Beach and West Palm Beach. For nearly three decades, the Frisbie family has approached real estate development with an unwavering emphasis on quality, design integrity, and community enrichment. Their projects are not only reflections of refined taste and classical sensibility but are also instrumental in shaping the identity and future of their neighborhoods.”

The award was presented to Robert Frisbie, Jr., on Saturday, April 26th, during the 13th Annual Addison Mizner Awards, hosted by the ICAA Florida Chapter at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables. The event celebrated outstanding achievements in classical architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, urbanism, and craftsmanship.

In the acceptance speech, Frisbie Jr. said, “classical design offers a quiet yet powerful sense of familiarity — through its symmetry, proportion, and enduring materiality. It invites people in, instills a sense of comfort and belonging, and lays the groundwork for true community. When thoughtfully integrated with the needs of modern life — from intuitive amenities to evolving technologies — classical design does more than preserve the past; it elevates the present and lays the foundation for lasting landmarks.”

Frisbie Group's portfolio exemplifies a harmonious blend of timeless design and modern functionality. Notable projects such as Via Flagler by The Breakers, South Flagler House, and the Townhomes on South Ocean Boulevard showcase the firm's commitment to revitalizing historic neighborhoods while maintaining architectural integrity. These all enhance the aesthetic appeal of their surroundings but also contribute to the cultural and economic vitality of Palm Beach.
