Frisbie Group and Terra unanimously selected by boca Raton city council

“Frisbie Group and Terra are honored to have been unanimously selected by the Boca Raton City Council to lead the Government Campus Redevelopment Partnership Opportunity. Our team is committed to transforming this space into a vibrant, eco-friendly district that harmoniously blends civic, residential, and commercial uses. We look forward to collaborating closely with city officials and the community to bring our shared vision to life, creating a sustainable and connected neighborhood that will serve as a model for future urban development."

Boca Raton City Hall has the potential to be redeveloped as the centerpiece of a vibrant neighborhood that is home to a mix of civic, residential, and commercial uses. Terra and the Frisbie Group have a shared vision for transforming City Hall and the surrounding area into an innovative, eco-friendly district centered around walkable streets, inviting public spaces, and connectivity with the Brightline. The project aims to include several sustainable elements, including dense tree canopies to reduce urban heat, pedestrian accessibility, and stormwater management while integrating green and grey infrastructure with 10–15-minute walking paths throughout the district. We look forward to collaborating with the City of Boca Raton and the broader community to bring this concept to life.”

Boca Raton City Center will comprise a blend of retail, restaurant, hotel, office, civic and community uses, ample parking options, new public green spaces and art, neighborhood plazas and landscaped parks.

The master-planned development – designed by international design firm Kohn Pedersen Fox – will feature pedestrian-oriented streets, low-rise and mid-rise building heights, and architectural elements that will seamlessly integrate with the surrounding neighborhood.

Terra and Frisbie Group have been among South Florida’s most active real estate firms for a combined 90 years, with more than $8.5 billion in development projects, accounting for over 5 million square feet of space.

The team has a long track record of executing transformational projects in collaboration with the public sector, including developments made possible through ground leases with municipalities which are valued in excess of $2.5 billion
